Alexa’s first independent culinary feat came as a four year old preschooler: Bean burritos and warm witches brew (colored, sweetened milk). Her interest in food never waned, but grew stronger and a bit more sophisticated through the years.
She attended California Culinary Academy (CCA) in San Francisco where she now lives. Alexa worked in several prestigious city restaurants: Plump Jack Café, Merenda, Hawthorne Lane, and Boulevard as a line cook and Sous Chef.
Food Styling beckoned. Alexa began creating food for cookbooks, magazines and advertising. She beautifully combines her unique talents: artistic sensibility and a love for food.
